Kicking Gender Boundaries
The students of the Jayshree Periwal International School present India’s first ever ‘Inclusivity Day.’ As the name suggests, this event aims to break the stigma around the LGBTQIA+ community. We plan to shed light upon the struggles and the journeys of various members by conducting interviews with them, and Allies of the community.
This year we want to make sure that despite the pandemic, students are not denied the chance to be exposed to the broad spectrum of genders and identities. We aim to provide a platform that will dispel all preconceived notions and prejudices against the community that students might harbour.
